Morrison Residence
The Morrison Residence has reports of disembodied footsteps, whispers, shadow people, and even portals. The home was first built in the 1970s on 5 acres of land just outside of Miami, OK. It was built by the then-manager of the local BF Goodrich Plant.
Wiseda Plant
Locals have reported hearing sounds and seeing apparitions inside the worn-down plant. Local legend says that the manager of the plant hung himself in the factory.
Welday Residence
Shadow People have been spotted at this residence by the family.
Blue Hole Camp Grounds
The campground is the site of a Native American massacre. The Nimiipuu Native Americans settled in this location in 1878. It is believed they chose this location so that they would be farther away from the corrupt Quaker Indian Agent and closer to the trading activities in Baxter Springs KS. There have been reports of whispers and spirit lights coming form this area.
Hornet Mo. Spook Light
This is a paranormal enigma more than a century old. Often described as an orange ball of light, the orb will travel from east to west along a four-mile gravel road, along what's called the Devil's Promenade by the locals.
Legend states that the spook light was first seen by the Native Americans along the infamous Trail of Tears in 1836; however, the first "official" report of the phenomenon occurred in 1881 in a publication called the Ozark Spook Light.

However, her father would not allow her to marry the man she loved, because he did not have a large enough dowry. So the pair eloped but were soon pursued by a party of warriors. It was shortly after these events that the light began to appear and was attributed the the sprits of the young lovers.

Satan's House
What was originally said to be an old school that burned down long ago now is said to be used to worship Satan. Legend also states that a farmer died tilling his field near the old school. There is nothing left of the school now but the foundation.

1100 Residence
The house is haunted by something upstairs. You can hear walking upstairs when no one is up there. The house is sometimes even haunted by a black cat. He would appear in different rooms. On one occasion one of the occupants was sleeping downstairs in the room off the stairs and had a terrible nightmare. He woke up the next morning halfway off his bed with his foot in the closet. As if something had tried dragging him in.
Labadie Mansion
This abandoned home now lies in ruins after being destroyed by two fires. At one time this was a gorgeous mansion.
Paranormal reports here have included animals that appear out of thin air, voices that scream at visitors, strange smells, and flashlights that will suddenly stop working out of nowhere. A burning fire in the old fireplace has even been reported.

Sycamore Log Church
The lore for this church was that a young adult had hung himself from a tree on the grounds and now his restless spirit haunts the church and the grounds.

Walker Residence
For this investigation, we were called out to the house due to one of the residents having an uneasy feeling every night for the past few nights. We did not obtain very much evidence from this location. Only 2 possible answers from the Ghost Box.
Balinese Shadow Puppet
In 2012 Matthew ran across a haunted Balinese Shadow Puppet doll on eBay. He purchased it in hopes of doing an investigation on the doll. The doll was described as dangerous. The shadow puppet had supposedly brought misery, disease, and possibly even death to a small town in Bali. A cluster of several generations lived within proximity of one another, and they would give the puppet to each of the children in the home to play with. The children would refuse to keep it in their rooms at night-sobbing and panicking. The children would tell their parents that they could see its shadow dancing across the walls of their rooms at night. One after one, the children exhibited horrible reactions just the next day after the evil shadow had been seen.
Not until three of these children experienced terminal illness, a mental breakdown, and in one very tragic case a freak fatal accident- did the families finally realize that the children had not been making up the chilling tails. Not wanting the puppet to pass its evil to other villagers, they decided to bury it. But a woman dug it up and used it to scare her lover. The villagers were afraid that if they burned it it would only enrage the spirit. The seller who claims to be a medium took the puppet from the villagers in the end during her visit to Bali. Once the doll was gone there were no more shadows on the walls and the children began to start recovering.
After purchasing and receiving the doll we began our investigation.
We got an EVP while we were trying to get the doll to stand up. We heard a “Stop” whispered angrily into the audio recorder. We also recorded odd breathing sounds and Courtney claimed to see the table move that the doll was sitting on. While ringing Tingsha Bells Courtney noticed that the room got darker. After the Tingsha Bells rang, we started hearing banging noises on the audio recorder. Tingsha Bells allow the free flow of positive Chi energy, and by warding off negativity, they can promote a flow of healthy energies.
The doll now sits in Matthew's haunted collection.

House on Sycamore Church Rd.
The lore on this location is that there was a little girl who was abused by her parents. Some stories say that she was even tied up in one of the small shacks on the property. The story goes that she escaped the shack and burned down the house with her parents inside. While investigating the site we found the foundation of a small house as well as a small shack on the property. Inside the shack, we did find small pieces of rope that were hanging from the walls.
When it came to evidence, we had a few video camera issues that couldn’t be explained as well as some audio. The main issue we faced was that it appeared Meel G. had been oppressed. Oppression is like possession but is different in that the victim only has their emotions controlled by the spirit.
While leaving the site Meel told us that while I was recording her, she suddenly had an overwhelming urge to attack me. She told me she wasn't able to shrug off the feeling of building anger the whole time we were there.

Animal Safari Rd.
The lore states that if you drive down the road at night you will find handprints on your car that weren’t there before.
So, we wiped down the car and drove down the road. At first, we didn’t think anything happened until we found a small handprint on the rear driver-side window.

Grassell Residence
Paranormal reports of strange sounds, seeing doors open and close, and shadows in the hallway.
During the investigation, Matthew set up a laser grid to look for shadows down the hallway. We did catch a shadow going from one room to another while there was no one down the hallway.

Rowland Residence
The Rowland Residence is named after the young girl who was burned alive in the house when it burned down in the 1700s, Eliza A Roland. The lore states that she still haunts the house to this day.
There isn’t much left of the house now just a few walls holding it up. There were two fires in the home before the family decided to finally leave the property. While investigating we did find Eliza’s grave on the property which helped to possibly confirm part of the stories that were being told.
While investigating the site that night we had guests with us. We brought along a couple of baseball bats in case we had to defend ourselves. The house was around half a mile into the woods. While in the house that night we were standing in what we believed to be what was left of the kitchen. There was a whole wall missing from part of it opening out into the woods. We started to hear rustling sounds coming from the woods. So, we shined our flashlights into the woods looking for possible animal eyes reflecting at us. Yet we saw nothing. It was then that strange sounds started circling the house. So, Ryan told us all to turn off our flashlights and wait for the sound to get closer.
With all the flashlights off we waited for the sounds of footsteps to walk up to the open doorway as soon as the sounds hit the doorway, we all turned our flashlights on and showed them at the door. There was nothing there… After that, Courtney and some of the others decided they wanted to leave. While leaving we continued to hear the sounds and they seemed to follow us out of the area.

The apartment tenants claimed to have poltergeist activity at the residence. Sarah was afraid for her daughter and worried she might be hurt by the spirit. They would have cabinets in the kitchen open by themselves and slam shut, as well as objects that would fly off the shelves.
One thing that the team noticed while investigating was that one of the little girls’ dolls' eyes had been colored black. We found this interesting.
During the investigation, we did not find much evidence to corroborate their stories. But oddly enough after our investigation, things seem to start settling down. Matthew would keep in contact with them and everything seemed quiet for weeks after the investigation.
To this day Matthew finds it odd that the team was unable to catch any evidence at this location because both Savannah and Sarah seemed to be telling the truth and were both truly terrified.

Gonzalez Residence
Jesse Gonzalez contacted the team and told them that his house was haunted. He said he would see shadows down the hallway.

Witch's Bridge Nevada Mo.
The lore for this location was that it was haunted by a witch who was hung from the bridge. While onsite we did get some strange audio on recording but nothing definitive of a haunting. Some locals believe in the lore while others say it is nothing but fiction.
The Map House
Tyler Spriggs asked the team to investigate the old house that was on his property. It was originally owned by Eunice Knapp who had since passed away. Tyler was having hauntings in his trailer home and was worried that the house might be linked to the haunting. While living in the trailer Tyler was haunted by what he believed to be Shadow People roaming around his property. He also would have objects fall off the counters unexplainably. One night Tyler had an out-of-body experience and saw a shadowy figure looming over his bed.
During the investigation, we got odd thermal readings in the kitchen of the old house, but most of the activity came from the new trailer where Tyler was living. We capture odd lights on the camera as well as replies on the Ghost Box.

Newtonia Cemetery
The cemetery is locally called the Civil War Cemetery; but to avoid confusion with other antebellum cemeteries, it is also known as the Old Newtonia Civil War Cemetery. Although there were some graves without dates the earliest recorded grave is from 1844. The area around the cemetery was the site of two Civil War battles. September 30, 1862, with 345 casualties. It was a Confederate Victory. October 28, 1864, with 650 Casualties was a Union Victory.

Peace Church Cemetery
William Edward Cook Jr. was born in Joplin, Missouri, in 1928. The mass murderer is also known as "Cockeyed" Cook due to a botched eye operation to correct a congenital defect. Committed numerous murders on over several week sprees, including the Mosser family, after carjacking the family, he forced them to drive to Joplin, Missouri. After standing trial for the Mosser family murders and receiving a 300-year sentence, he was tried in California for the Dewey murder, for which he received the death penalty. The penalty was carried out in the gas chamber in San Quentin Prison by the California Department of Corrections. He is now buried outside of Peace Church Cemetery...

Miller Civil War Cemetery
Miller Cemetery is a very old cemetery near Harmony Grove east of Joplin, Mo. This cemetery is no longer used but was cleaned up of brush and weeds during the spring of 2012. There could be around 800 burials here, but many are unmarked. At one time a streetcar line ran near here along Turkey Creek. The graves can be seen now that the brush is gone.
During the investigation, we noticed cold spots that seemed to mysteriously move around the cemetery. We also got two EVPs during the investigation.

Todd Residence
The team was contacted by Steven and Sona. After they told the team their stories and showed them their possible spirit photography, We decided to investigate.
The house is old...first owned by a Native American. Many poor souls died on the property, and it appears some of their spirits still have not been laid to rest.
During the investigation, we got lots of odd light fluctuations on video as well as Ghost Box answers using the Estes Method. There is a supposed to be buried treasure on the property as well and the Ghost Box talked about that as well. Steve’s spirit photos were very interesting. You can make out what looks like a family in period attire standing in the kitchen. The lore states that there were multiple deaths on the property. One individual shot themselves with a shotgun in the living room committing suicide while another hung themselves in the barn.

Crescent Hotel Room 218
Said to be the most paranormally active room in “America's Most Haunted Hotel”, Michael’s Room is also the hotel’s most requested room. The lore states that during the construction of the hotel, Machel was working on some scaffolding above what later became Room 218. It is said that he was calling out to a woman he found attractive and fell to his death landing in Room 218. He is said to spy on women in the shower and mess with the bed sheets.
We unfortunately were unable to get any recorded evidence at the location. We did have the patio door open by itself though. We, unfortunately, did not catch this on camera as we were leaving the next morning when it happened, and the cameras had been put away. Mike also said that he felt like his foot had been touched during the night.

Gann Residence
Allison Gann asked me to investigate the residence after she found a demon sigil taped to a CD case that had been left at her apartment door. Allison told me that they had poltergeist-like activity at their house. They had a coffee cup end up on the kitchen floor across the room after it had been set on a stand. They also would see shadows coming from their closet.
During the investigation, I did not get a whole lot of evidence, but the apartment seemed to creak an odd amount. The apartment would creak repeatedly almost constantly while I was investigating. Matthew believes that Allison’s wife Olivia might be a latent psychic and was possibly the cause of the haunting. She told the team while Matthew was interviewing her that she could see spirits out of the corner of her eye. As if they were there but not there.
